From the moment you walk in the door you know this is not your regular Embassy Suites experience. The check-in process was pleasant with no waiting, and we were offered several bottle of water to rehydrate. The sitting area in the lobby is inviting and comfortable.

A lovely chandelier creates a feeling of relaxed elegance, as does the gazebo in the center of the hotel.

A member of Walt Disney World’s Good Neighbor Hotel program, the hotel offers complimentary shuttles to Walt Disney World Resort, and you may purchase your theme park tickets on site.

 

About those amenities…

Embassy Suites is your home base. After you have shopped til you dropped, walked your feet off in the four Disney parks, come hang out by the huge pool.

While the kiddos are splashing in the water park area, your teens will be cooling off in the pool and mom and dad can have a refreshing drink at the pool bar.

For a family experience, grab a bite at the pool bar, and then enjoy Embassy’s “dive-in” movie nights featuring family movies that your entire clan will enjoy. For the sports enthusiast, there is tennis and a putting green. Why not challenge mom or dad to a round of putting?

 

Food & Coffee – the Necessities

Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista offers an on-site pizza and snack shack. Located next to the kid’s play area, it’s the perfect spot to let the kids play and work off their energy.

And for those who need the caffeine lift, there’s a Starbucks! I must admit I love to start my day with a double shot, Venti iced white mocha – it keeps this gal on the move.

Embassy Suites also has an on-site restaurant if you are exhausted from all of the fun that Disney offers.

 

Plug In and Charge Up

Free high-speed internet is available in the public areas of the hotel. So why not start your day by grabbing a protein filled energy breakfast and plugging in to check your email and social media? Cooked-to-order breakfast is available each morning of your stay. And to wind down at the end of the day,  join the fun at the complimentary manager’s cocktail gathering each evening.

 

Pools, Splash Park and More

Embassy Suites offers a swim-thru indoor/outdoor swimming pool. So when the weather is bad, move inside and continue the fun! Scattered throughout the area are cozy sitting areas, with firepits, and small tables.

Private cabanas with TV and fridge are available for your use. Plenty of umbrellas and chaise lounges surround the pool area, giving you a chance to relax and unwind from all the walking you did at Disney. Get your taste of the Caribbean as you listen and groove to the sounds of the steel drum band each Saturday.

 

Accommodations at Embassy Suite Lake Buena Vista

One of the reasons we choose to stay at Embassy Suites when we travel is the room! Each two room suite has a living area with a small coffee bar, fridge, and sink. The fridge is nice to keep snacks in.

The living room is comfortable with a pullout sofa (making an extra double bed) and chair. A table is convenient for the business traveler to finish up work or emails. It’s also great for family game nights, or to sit and share a snack or two. A large flat screen TV rounds out the living room.

The bedroom is spacious with a heavenly king bed and two side tables. The beds at the Embassy Suites give us a very comfortable and restful nights’ sleep. And believe me, when you hit Disney the next day, you will want to be rested!

There is a large armoire that is big enough to hold clothes for the family.

A small vanity area with sink and mirror is a nice feature in this room. A large flat screen TV gives the family a choice of shows to watch.

Location, Location, Location

Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista is well located. With restaurants only a short distance away, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes. Jim and I love to try new foodie options when we travel, so Black Fire Brazillian Steakhouse was our choice. There is a shopping center that has lots of options and has a Publix (great for picking up snacks!).

Having season passes for Disney, I can guarantee that we’ll be returning to the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista!
