January 17-18, 2025
The second annual Art Affair invites attendees to experience New Smyrna Beach’screative and coastal charm with new highlights for 2025. Hosted by Garden & Gun editor Elizabeth Florio, the weekend features artistic excursions, culinary delights and opportunities to explore the destination’s beaches and historic districts.
The weekend begins with a Welcome Cocktail Party at Victoria 1883, the city’s oldest home turned inn and speakeasy, featuring Indian River oysters, local art and cocktails by Sugar Works Distillery, which was recently revamped under new ownership. New for 2025, Richard England of The Hub on Canal will join Wine Spectator Magazine to lead attendees through a tasting of California wines.
Guests will enjoy A Creative Conversation at Jane’s Art Center, where Elizabeth Florio moderates a panel with Florida artists on regional influences in their work. The New Smyrna Beach Area’s culinary scene welcomed several new restaurants in 2024 and is expected to continue to grow with exciting additions in the new year. A cornerstone of artistic innovation, the Atlantic Center for the Arts connects artists and the community through residencies, workshops and exhibitions. In January, ACA’s Arts on Douglas gallery will present Creative Ways to See, an exhibit by Tampa-based artist Candace Knapp, running from Jan. 4 to Feb. 8, 2025.
Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach
